client is a leader in the design and manufacture of analytical
instrumentation for the pharmaceutical industry. This ISO 9001
certified company is located in the Madison Wisconsin area and has
offices in France and Italy. The company is seeking a Senior Engineer
to join its design team. Responsibilities include: develop hardware,
software and firmware TSR for new products participate in product
design & originate electrical design for new products may originate
software design for new products determine design requirements for
safety, emissions and susceptibility specify component parts to be
used in designs document design and tests & define inspections, tests
and test equipment or fixtures for production of new products defines
specifications and tolerances for new designs determine requirements
for qualification and/or validation testing develop test plans for
field functional verification testing develop modifications to
existing products coordinates activities and provides direction to
less experiences engineers Requirements: BS in electrical engineering
or related science ; Board level design using 16/32 bit processors;
Experience in embedded, multitasking applications using C++ and
Assembly languages; Familiarity with compiler, linker, emulator and
debugger used in development of embedded application; Minimum of 3
years experience in a lead design role SKILLS: DESIGN, DEBUGGER,
COMPILER, EMULATE, EMBEDDED, ROBOTS, FPGA, FLASH, C++, MULTTASK,
MOT-CNTL, 80960ASM, 32-BIT, 16-BIT INDUSTRIES: MED-INST EDUCATION: BS
