With quite a few Scooby-Doo-related sites on the Internet frequently
including the occasional (some would call it obligatory) putdown of
Scrappy-Doo (Scooby's naughty-but-tolerable nephew)--especially with regard
to that somehow-annoying introduction line of his (as is the title of this
very posting, dear reader)--I have been one to imagine its potential as a
"slam" leading out of that ever-so-sappy jingle Riverview Park and Waterworld
(themselves online, so you know, at http://www.riverviewpark.com), largely
for comedic effect.

Which, in the musical department, could best be followed with:

*"Layla" (Derek and The Dominoes)

*"Walkin' on Sunshine" (Katrina and The Waves)

*"Church of the Poison Mind" or "Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me?" (Boy George and
Culture Club)

*"Edge of Seventeen" (Stevie Nicks)

*"Always Something There to Remind Me" (Naked Eyes)

*"Make Me Your Baby" (Barbara Lewis)

*"Lean on Me" (Club Nouveau)

*"In-A-Gadda-De-Vita" (Iron Butterfly--especially the 15:00 version)

*"Buffalo Stance" (Nenah Cherry)

*"Let's Go Crazy" (Prince)

*"The Story in Your Eyes" or "Gemini Dream" (The Moody Blues)

*"Jackie Blue" (Ozark Mountain Daredevils)

*"I'm Your Captain/Closer to Home" (Grand Funk Railroad)

*"Pop Muzik" (M)

*"Rock-'n'-Roll Hootchie-Koo" (Rick Derringer)

*"Get Down Tonight" (K.C. and The Sunshine Band)

*"Suavasido" (Malo)

*"More, More, More" (Andrea True Connexion)

*Anything by The Village People, esp, "Y.M.C.A." or "Macho Man"

*"Will It Go Round in Circles" or "Space Race" (Billy Preston)

*"Suffragette City" or "Space Oddity" (David Bowie)

*"Home and Dry" or "Baker Street" (Gerry Rafferty)

*"Addicted to Love" (Robert Palmer)

*"Little Egypt" (The Coasters)

(I will admit this is all whimsically-driven fantasy--NOT under the influence
of drugs, lest anybody get any ideas in that direction; why not debate this
latest choice inspiration among yourselves at DellsChat/The Wisconsin
Dellscussion? Still in business at
http://members.xoom.com/KahunaDells/DellsChat.htm.)
