I noticed in the latest Wi-Reach Classic firmware (8.08.q11) if you
set APN to CDMA it will work with CDMA service like Sprint's Novatel
Wireless U760 Qualcomm 3G CDMA data modem.

That is correct this is the way to tell Wi-REACH that the modem
attached to it is a CDMA modem.
