I have a Ubee PXU1900 from Ubee Interactive, re-branded as a Clear USB
4G modem. I really would like to get a Wi-Reach. Is this device
supported? Are there plans to support it soon? Has anybody tried
using it with the Wi-reach?

Thanks

The WiReach Classic has been tested with a long list of 3G cellular
modems -- See http://www.connectone.com/media/upload/3G-USB-LIST.pdf
However, Connect One has not yet tested with any 4G modems. The
company does intend to do this in the very near future.
Please contact us at: wir...@connectone.com or in...@connectone.com if
you willing to assist us in testing your specific modem device.

Hello Bryon:

I just got mine so am exploring it currently. I'm interested in using
a data sim card through a sim card reader. I've ordered a "usb sim
card reader" from www.sourceingmap.com ($10) what I think I'm looking
for. I hope to insert my t-mobile sim card from my phone into it then
into the mi-reach and presto a "just in time", transferable hot spot.
All comments on this approach are welcome and I'll let you know my
results for all interested.

Hello:

It is now clear to me what I ordered, a sim card reader would not
work. I need a 3G modem. I want one unlocked with a sim card slot
that I can interchange to different network provider sim cards as I
travel in the US and Europe. My guess is that this Zoom model may be
it but ConnectOne does not list it as tested. I also notice a similar
Zoom model for AT&T network. That makes some since in that my
unlocked Nexus One phone is offered as either a t-mobile or a AT&T
type. Here is the data sheet if anyone is interested in the same
approach or has history with Zoom modems please comment.

Thanks

Walter
