Hi,

how can I get connected/disconnected device name when ''WifiP2pManager.WIFI_P2P_CONNECTION_CHANGED_ACTION' is received?
I was trying to get 'WifiP2pDevice' with 'intent.getParcelableExtra(WifiP2pManager.EXTRA_WIFI_P2P_DEVICE)' but it returns null.

Any ideas?

Maybe try requestConnectionInfo() or requestGroupInfo when connection changes.

Here's an example of what I did in the Wi-Fi Buddy library:

Hello,

thanks for your help.
As I understand (when device is connected/disconnected), I retrieve 'WifiP2pGroup' via listeners mentioned by you. Now I have access to clients list (

WifiP2pGr.getClientList()) and I compare this with my local stored connected devices list. Therefore I know which device was connected/disconnected, right?

I think you have to be the group owner to know who the clients in the group are. I posted another question in this group that may be related: Can the client of a WifiP2pGroup know about the other clients?

That's true - as you noticed, when conntected as client, 'getClients()' list unfortunatelly returns empty list.
