Welcome to the Wi-Fi Direct Google Group. The purpose of this group is to have general discussions around Wi-Fi Direct and the Android Wi-Fi P2P framework. Android's implementation of Wi-Fi Direct is known to be confusing and difficult to work with. The implementation has been around for years, but it still has some serious issues and lacks essential features. The goal of this group is to open up discussions around this framework and bring Wi-Fi Direct back to life. Wi-Fi Direct is an amazing technology that has huge potential, but gets little attention. Please feel free to ask questions, share resources, share experiences, request features, and discuss anything related to Wi-Direct.
