Dear WI Dairyland CS Teachers,
My name is Leo, and I serve as the Project Coordinator for PUMP-CS at Marquette University. Kyle Gregerson and Joe Kmoch suggested I reach out to share an opportunity designed for educators across the full spectrum of computer science.
There’s still time to register for our Computer Science Education Week, taking place August 10–14 at the Lowenwood Education Center in Land O’ Lakes, WI.
This is a hands-on experience focused on practical, classroom-ready strategies. Session tracks are built to strengthen your background in current CS curricula across grade bands, including:
One of the biggest strengths of the week is the opportunity to collaborate across grade levels.
What does this mean for you?
You’ll learn from peers, exchange ideas, and continue building a strong, supportive community of CS educators.
The cost is $150 and includes five full days of professional development, lodging, and meals.
You can register here:
Register for CS Education Week
We encourage you to share this opportunity with colleagues. We all know that professional development is always better with a partner.
We’re also inviting participants to help shape the experience. Let us know what you’d like to see during the week, and I’ll share your input with the planning team. Even better, you may be interested in showcasing a CS project during the week. The planning team is open to creating space for educators to share ideas and highlight best practices from their classrooms.
So, get ready to share your stories at the compire in August. The story could be a successful lesson, a student breakthrough, or a challenge that led to growth. Our goal is to create space for educators to showcase their work and learn from one another.
So, dust off your sleeping bag and bring your stories. The planning team will bring the marshmallows and chocolate.

Apologies for the duplicate email. I got a bit impatient after I didn't get a rejection notice from Google based on the file size warning with the attached image file.
Still figuring out Google Groups after all these years. Maybe I should take some PD on how to use Google Groups.
Kind regards,
Leo
