📣 VIRTUAL EVENT - AI Readiness for Counselors:

Strategies and Resources for Advising Success

March 27th | 11am to 12pm ET

Space is limited - register here!

Join us on March 27th to celebrate National AI Literacy Day! This day serves as a celebration and coordinated day of action designed to spark meaningful conversations about the role of artificial intelligence in our daily lives.

With Artificial Intelligence (AI) changing education and the workforce alike, school counselors will be in the best position to help students move into a digital future. Join the webinar and Q&A with Technology and School Counseling experts Dr. Christy Conley and Snehal Bhakta to build your AI literacy, discover ways to effectively support students in an AI-driven world, and gain effective strategies for guiding students to position AI as a co-creator as opposed to an answer generator.
Why join our workshop:
  • AI Basics: Understand machine learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLM), Agentic and Generative AI, and how the models are trained.
  • Spotting Bias: Identify the bias in an AI output and how to support students in identifying AI hallucinations and misinformation.
  • Interactive Activities: Discover activities like Hour of AI, and Two Truths and AI to help students gain AI literacy.
  • Advising Strategies: End with tips for embedding AI literacy into counseling, using reputable sources such as aiEDU, Common Sense Media, Discovering AI, and Code.org.
  • Critical Thinking Skills: Become better equipped to support students in assessing the credibility, tone, and ethical implications of AI content.
