Hello

Please encourage girls that are interested in computing and engineering to apply for the NCWIT Aspirations in Computing Award.  They can be just beginning their journey or they can be very advanced and everything in between.  The application period ends on October 28, 2025.  If you don't teach at the high school level, please forward this to those you know who do!

In addition to the information below, here are four videos from past Aspirations honorees that you might send off to your young women whom you want to encourage to apply for this award.

Thank you

Greetings!

NCWIT is pleased to announce that the Aspirations in Computing (AiC) High School Award is now accepting high school students' applications through October 28, 2025!

Please help us spread the word to your students!

Educators, counselors, after-school mentors, and school administrators play an invaluable role in encouraging students to pursue their interests in computing and technology. The NCWIT Aspirations in Computing (AiC) program understands this. AiC provides students with ongoing engagement, visibility, and encouragement for their computing-related interests and achievements from high school through college and into the workforce. There are HS award designations for ALL levels of technical ability, including students with little to no experience.

The AiC HS Award honors students for their computing-related achievements and interests and encourages them to pursue their passions.

  • Application period: September 1, 2025 - October 28, 2025

  • Encourage a student to apply by using our encouragement form

Our Spread The Word page contains more information about the awards - please share!

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at NCWI...@gmail.com

Thank you for supporting students in tech!
