Amazon EC2 Now Offers Reserved Instance (RI) Modification
Prior to the introduction of this feature you could not change the instance type of an RI. Now if you have a Linux/UNIX or Windows RI and capacity is available, you can change the instance type of your reservation to a larger or smaller type in the same family.

Amazon EBS Increased max. IOPS:GB
Amazon EBS Provisioned IOPS volumes maximum IOPS:GB (input/output operations per second to Gigabytes) ratio has been increased from 10:1 to 30:1. Now, customers can provision up to 4,000 IOPS for a 133 GB volume, enjoying greater flexibility in how they configure Provisioned IOPS volumes.

Amazon CloudFront Support for POST, PUT and other HTTP Methods
This means you can improve the performance of dynamic websites that have web forms, comment and login boxes, "add to cart" buttons or other features that upload data from end users. It also means you can now use a single domain name to deliver your whole website through CloudFront thereby accelerating both the download and upload parts of your website.
