Hi all,
The Arcade library has lots of events coming up! Please feel free to email me with any questions.
*
First is the bimonthly drop-in volunteering program Teen Service Saturdays, which occurs on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month from 4—5:30 p.m. If you or a teen you know is in need of volunteer hours, this can be a great way to get them — helping the library stay neat and clean, making bookmarks and library card lanyards, assisting with preparation for upcoming programs, and more! No registration required; just go the library's meeting room when you arrive.
*
Next up is the library's monthly Free Teen Cafe series in September, October, November, and December (and perhaps beyond, depending on community response). Each relaxed event will include free food, art activities, space to study and read, and more for teens aged 14-19. No registration required; just show up! Teens must be picked up no later than 8:30 p.m.
*
We also offer a monthly event for kids and families —the first one will be an Art Lab on Saturday September 6 at 2 p.m.! Again, no registration required, and this event series is open to all.
*
Finally, we're excited to start another series of events designed for adults (open to those aged 16 and up) that will include various crafts and outside speakers. All supplies will be provided, and registration is required. To register, visit
