On-Call Materials Handler

The On-Call Materials Handler recruitment is now open. This recruitment is open until 11:59pm on February 21st, 2025. 

The On-Call Materials Handler is responsible for handling, unpacking, and sorting shipments of library materials, and operating computers and mobile devices such as the Automated Material Handling System (AMHS). Materials Handlers work behind the scenes to support Sacramento Public Library's circulation of materials. If you are a self-motivated team player who enjoys staying busy, consider applying for our On-Call* Materials Handler position.

 

(Please note: On-Call employees can only be scheduled to work up to 19 hours per week, and may not work more than 1,000 hours in a fiscal year.)
