Update - Conference @ 29.11.09

Dear Leader

 

Please find the Gist of the session we had today (29.11.09) at 1 pm.  We discussed about the vision & Mission of WhyNewton , action steps for the leaders & about ideas leaders have.

 

How do we go about from now?

 

* Trap college data base / list of contacts from the college : This is one of the effective way of connecting. Any Email list/ Contact list.

 

* The leaders from the same region can act as a TEAM . This can avoid Duplication of work and save time.

 

* One thing that's bothering everyone around is EXAMS !

 

Question :  How do we involve the students writing exams ?

 

This might work : Tell the students , we would be very much interested to know about their Exam experiences.

 

I am sure Exams are a package of excitement, fear May be Fun to few ! So many emotions can be captured. So, the students can just share their Exam story too! Kind of stress buster ! 

 

 

* First Capture the interest of the student. Some students might be interested to win prizes, some might participate for FUN and few might want to share their inspiring story. Before targeting the students, we need to analyse " How & When would they respond well ?" . 

 

* Poster is a good way of promoting. Added to this , Word of mouth works superb. So, more focus should be on talking about WhyNewton. Have a touch of your personality in the work ! That can create wonders. :)

 

* Identification of various platforms to spread the vsison of WhyNewton.

 

* Suggestions about WhyNewton conducting Conferences , connecting Industry to academia and extending Deadline as many students have exams.

 

We would have these conferences , soon for the leaders who have missed it due to unavoidable reasons.

 

Let's ACT and create a Difference !
