Nexteq Navigation is currently recruiting for a GNSS System Architect.

 

Job description:

 

GNSS System Architect

 

Nexteq Navigation Corp. is a leading innovator in precise GNSS positioning based in Calgary, Alberta.

Due to strong market demands, Nexteq is expanding its research team to develop new generation GNSS

receiver technologies and products to take advantage of these opportunities.

 

The successful candidate will work closely with a team of research and development engineers to design

next generation GNSS OEM receiver boards and products.

 

Responsibilities

·        Provide architectural and technical direction for the development of a new high performancemulti-frequency multi-constellation GNSS receiver

·        Model GNSS signal processing to support system and software development

·        Define, model and analyze frequency plans and signal processing algorithms for acquisition, tracking, multipath mitigation and jamming mitigation

·        Test algorithms by modelling, simulation and live testing

 

Qualifications

 

·        M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

·        Minimum of 5 years of industrial/applied experience in GNSS receiver design including signal acquisition and tracking algorithms.

·        Familiarity with all GNSS signals

·        Embedded software design experience desirable

·        VHDL experience desirable
