This is one of the best times of years to sell your products at craft shows. Now through around December 20 you will find lots of these events in your area. To locate them, check your local papers and look for flyers around town. Typically you will see shows at:

* Churches
* Nursing Homes
* Schools

The questions I want to throw out there this week are:

1) How do you setup your display? What seems to work?
2) How do you price your items?
3) What sales strategies are most effective?
4) What general advice would you offer to someone selling at a show for the first time?

On an un-related topic - I am going to offer free shipping (USA) and reduced shipping (Int'l) from around 9:30am EST today through midnight tommorrow. First 30 orders qualify.

As usual, if you have something to share, please do, if you just want to observe, that's is cool too. Hope all is well!

Thanks,

Hi Aaron:  I have three things to let you in on.  I just got back (returned) from your US customs the pickled garlic.  Because  it was an unknown substance they held it at the customs for 3 weeks and then decided to return it to me.  I guess they cannot smell garlic.  The second thing I have just been awarded the Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business Award for the year 2008 in home based business.  This is the highest award one can acheive here in Abbotsford and quite an accomplishment (if I do say so myself).  I was up against some pretty tough competition and did not think I had a chance when I found out who my competition was.  Wow was I astonished.  One other little item I have come second in an international design competition from London, England and my trophy just arrived today.  Boy I am flying right now.  You helped me get started and then it has just flown from there.  You will always have a soft spot in my heart.  Thanks  Leslie Easte
