Subject: New Draft Time, Rule Book, New Category, & Adjusted Plot Map
Greetings teams,
First things first. Looking forward to seeing all of you Saturday at NOON (not new time) for the Plot Draft. Noon, 12 p.m. High Noon at NOLA Brewing Co. on Tchoupitoulas. We will be in the large annex room behind the new brew pub. Just listen for Becker's audio tribute to David Bowie to guide yourself in.
Attached to this email please find the 2016 Ben Sarrat, Jr. High on the Hog Pork Cook Rule Book. The answers you seek are located inside. Please pay particular attention to the sections on Prohibited Smokers, Alcohol, Team Bracelets, Best Friday Night Party, and Fundraising. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask me. Please sign and scan the Team Acknowledgement back to me by March 5th or bring it to the Plot Draft.
You will note there is a new category this year. We are proud to announce we will have a Best Bite category sponsored by Martin's Potato Rolls. Your job in this category is to make a delicious dish featuring one of the delicious products produced by Martin's. Martin's will provide you with one (1) packet of bread of your choice.
Due to some repairs to the Hogs field made by Voodoo we had to adjust the layout slightly. Please see view the attached maps. Also, please note where competitor parking will be this year. Team vehicles go in the competitor lot once done unloading, not on the field.
