Teams,
T Minus 3 Weeks. If you haven't started watching Road House at least thrice weekly by now, start immediately. And now onto the announcements. Previous two weeks of emails at bottom, especially pay attention to BRACELET ORDER.
Donations/Shadow Credit updated on Fridays, you can contact Zandy for that info.
1) Attached please find an order form from Martin's Potato Rolls. As a reminder, this year we are excited about the Martin's Potato Rolls Perfect Bite Category in which you will use a Martin's product to create a perfect bite. You will receive one (1) free packet of rolls, but you may also elect to take advantage of Martin's special discounted Hogs pricing and delivery and order additional products. Please review the order form and place your order directly with Martins. Deadline March 21st to get orders in.
2) Blue Plate Side Category. Similar to the above, but Blue Plate must be included in the dish. We will distribute your jar of mayo at Team Check In.
3) Conference Call next week where we will go over a lot of stuff. Make sure someone from your team, tunes in.
4) Just a clarification. There are a lot of awesome fundraising events, parties, and the like you are throwing between now and Hogs. This is awesome and exactly the right way to party with a purpose. But please note that while Hogs does provide some funds for research, our primary purpose is Pediatric Brain Cancer Outreach services. Helping families with bills, hotels, travel, mortgages, etc... is our focus and what you help us accomplish by your fundraising and effort. So thank you very much for all that you do.

Couple of thoughts and last week's email at bottom of this message.
1) Team tickets on sale at Hogs HQ. Discounted price of $20 a piece
and tix are good for either day. To arrange pickup email Becker or I
to make sure someone is at the office (225 N. Jeff Davis, corner of
Bienville and N. Jeff Davis). Only 100 discounted tickets left, once
they are gone, no more discounted tickets. We will have additional
tickets for $25 a day.
2) Will be sending out a press release extolling the virtues and vices
of Friday night at Hogs. If you are going to serve food on Friday (not
required, but highly encouraged) please let me know by Friday, March
4th at 5 pm so we can include your team in the press release. Please
review the attached list. Teams with an asterisk are serving to the
public Friday night. This asterisk will also be on the map distributed
to attendees.
3) Vehicle Access: As a reminder Vehicle Access means a car can enter
the Hogs field on Friday, drop stop off, and then leave the grounds.
Each team will receive two (2) vehicle access passes for Friday.
Parking will be available for Competitors as described on the attached
map. READ HERE: NO CARS ON THE LOT AFTER 12 NOON on FRIDAY, APRIL 1.
As always, we encourage you to load in on Tuesday, Wednesday, or
Thursday when your cars can be as free as the Salmon of Capistrano.

Last Week's Email:
1) DEADLINE MARCH 5th: Attached to this email is a spreadsheet with
your team name and categories. Please note all teams are competing in
the Martin's Perfect Bite and Blue Plate Side category, which are not
reflected on this email. Please review your teams entries. If you
would like to add a category, please respond to me, our judging
coordinator Melzie Wilson (cc'ed here), Waylon McInturff (also cc'ed)
with your additions by March 4th at 5 pm. After this time, you will
not be able to add categories. You can always drop a category.
Also, please review this list for accuracy in spelling of your team
name. After March 5th, no team names can be changed as this list will
be sent to printer for team signs.
2) DEADLINE MARCH 9th: Tent and equipment orders from Gulf Coast Tent
are due by March 9th at 5 pm. Orders received after this date cannot
be guaranteed and will incur additional costs. Order form attached.
Email your order to Angela Watson.
3) MARCH 16th: Lead Chefs Conference call - someone from your team
must participate. Call in info forthcoming.
4) DEADLINE MARCH 18th: Final date to submit auction items. Reminder
there will be mobile bidding this year, which will open up auction
items to the general public approximately one week before the dinner.
Good way to boost your item's value. Auction coordinators copied on
this email.
5) DEADLINE MARCH 18th: River Parish port o let orders due. Order form
attached.
6) DEADLINE MARCH 23rd: Additional team bracelet orders due. Purchase
your ten (10) additional bracelets here
