Subject: Hogs Band Release/Shadow Credits/ Etc

Teams,
We will release the Band Line-up and Tickets will go ON SALE at 9am Next Tuesday December 8th!! You can tune into WWL in the 8 o’clock hour and we will be dropping it live from Nola Taproom.  We’re very excited to bring you what we think is our best line-up yet.  That also means, you can start earning shadow credits! “What are shadow credits?”  ...our new teams may be asking.  Shadow Credits allow you to fundraise without having to raise actual dollars.  When a customer goes to buy a ticket to Hogs, they will be asked, “Would you like to credit a team with your ticket purchase?”  There will be a drop down box with every team listed.  The customer then just has to select you and BAMMMMMMMM you just got free $ in your piggy bank!  Shadow Credits are worth more the earlier the customer buys the tickets, which can really pad your piggy bank if you get your friends buying their tickets NOW!  Below is the schedule of tickets and the corresponding shadow credit associated with those tickets.  Essentially, get your friends to buy during the Pre Sale and you are a Hogleg up!!

Finally, if looking for stocking stuffers these holidays, we will have some hard, “Single Day” General Admission tickets for sale, only at our office.  They are $20/ticket.  They will earn the regular Gen Admin shadow Credit of $2.  This will be the only way to get “Single Day” tickets.  The rest will be sold online as Friday or Saturday only tickets.  These are done as a favor to y’all, the teams, as you have asked for them.  Please do not send friends, family, your dog, or butler in looking to purchase them.  They will only be sold to teams and are limited in quantity.  What yall do with them is up to you, but we dont want the Hogs office treated as a Box Office for the public and we cant re-send if lost…like we can online.  Rule Book will be coming in January and we will get the Plot Draft (January 16th at Nola Brew) Order to you as soon as we complete the map.  It’s beginning to look alot like Hogsmas.

December 8th - January 10

2 Day Boss Hog - $350 ($100 in Shadow Credits), includes admission both Friday and Saturday, access to Boss Hog Tent with open bar and private restroom, plus private stage viewing at NOLA Brewing stage and Regions Bank stage. Also includes $45 in Hoggy Dollars.

RJ,

Thinking about ice chests for Hogs this year. How many do we need? What cubic capacity? I am thinking 200 cubic ft.

Everyone, please vote on the cubic feet- more or less than 200? Perhaps 205.5 cubic feet

Colin, I believe we need more than 200 cubic feet. Just my thoughts. I would be interested to hear what Conrad and Alford think on this important subject matter

We need 120qts for empanadas and another 120 quarts for potato salad. How many cubic feet left for beer?

Why the fuck are y’all worried about ice chests? We have always had left over ice, beer and plenty of ice chest to clean afterwards.

When accounting for the cubic ft of pulled pork, remember to add some cushion for ICE...critical.

Need Alford's thoughts.

I am a minimalist, less is more.

Speaking of roast beef, my son has volunteered to coordinate the Strippers for the Friday night party.  He is a chick magnet so quality should be good, grade A.

Alford, this is not just us guys and Kelly (not bothered by strippers) but also goes to significant others in the group who may cause problems if they are aware of the Friday night entertainment.

Ice is not critical for pulled pork. Timing is. Need to cook either well in advance or on site. If we put that stuff on ice when it’s still hot, we’ll really have a mess. Possibly bottles of water frozen and tucked around the bags of pork.

Gee Dad, so glad you raised a daughter not bother by strippers? #parentinggoals

Alford tell that baby I have high standards so better be grade A, unless you want my commentary of every nook and cranny.

Too much too early? Sorry!
