I am almost finished reading The Hearts of Horses by Molly Gloss.
Very well written; a novel about a female 'horse whisperer' in E.
Oregon during World War I

I read that one!  I was going to suggest it for next month's book to read!

I especially, ESPECIALLY liked the ending.
