Hey everbody! Yes, I'm a little slow...but the book club lives on. We didn't wanted to get too regimated anyway, right?

 

It looks like Barn Blind came in as our next read.

 

The $80 Dollar Champion is next (I say let's read that one next month)

 

And poor Black Beauty came in third. I haven't given up on that one though, one of these days we'll all be feeling sentimental at once and go for it.

 

I'm just now ordering it from the library and I hear it's free on Kindle.

 

Let's set discussion for mid-March and go for it shall we?

I started listening to Barn Blind a few days ago - Jane Smiley is
truly a gifted writer.

I can already associate with the characters in that all of their money
gets spent on horses...
