importing html

Am using Whizzywig as a local resource to import html - edit it and
export it.

When pasting in html the whizzwig converts img src which is a relative
link (and i suppose other links - not tested) to the full local path -
it takes the folder that it is in and adds the relative path to come
up with an incorrect local path.

The links in the pasted in html are relative to another document not
Whizzywig.

Is there a way for it to leave the src as is and not modify it.

Also to have the image visible within Whizzywig am I able to set the
base reference
