Is there an easy way to send an automated reminder based on an approval request? We automate approvals from some of our Smartsheets and would love for a reminder to be sent x days later if the approval status is still "Submitted".
I can't find where I can build a reminder based on the status change plus a number of days. And I don't know of a formula to populate another date field that would pick up the status date. The closest I can get is the system date of when the row was last changed, but that's subject to any change in the row.
From my searches, the only way would be to clone the approbation request and make a new one that use the 2nd date column to be launched. But it seems quite an heavy process just for this. And If I want to repeat my reminder every 3 days, I have to make 10 approval request copy and 10 date columns...
You can customize the language of the reminders, and there are links within the email to the approval form and underlying sheet, but you're correct about the challenges you've identified. It's not a perfect process.
I have the original and two reminders set up. Every org is different, but that has at least satisfied the 80/20 rule for me. For the couple that don't respond by the 2nd reminder I'm on the phone or in their doorway anyway.
Background: Current methods of improving medication adherence for health problems are mostly complex, labour-intensive, and not reliably effective. Medication 'reminder packaging', which incorporates a date or time for a medication to be taken in the packaging, can act as a reminder to improve adherence. This review of reminder packaging is an update of our 2006 Cochrane review.
Objectives: The objective of this review was to determine the effects of reminder packaging aids for self-administered medication/s taken for at least one month, on adherence and other outcomes.
Selection criteria: We selected randomised controlled trials with at least 80% follow up. We intended to do a sensitivity analysis of those studies that analysed their data on an intention-to-treat basis. Included studies compared a reminder packaging device with no device, for participants taking self-administered medications for at least one month.
Main results: We included twelve studies containing data on 2196 participants; four of these studies were newly included in this 2011 update of our 2006 Cochrane review.Six intervention groups in four trials provided data on the percentage of pills taken. Reminder packaging increased the percentage of pills taken (mean difference (MD) 11% (95% confidence interval (CI) 6% to 17%)). Notable heterogeneity occurred among these trials (I(2) = 96.3%). Two trials provided data for the proportion of self-reported adherent patients, reporting a reduction in the intervention group which was not statistically significant (odds ratio = 0.89 (95% CI 0.56 to 1.40)). We conducted meta-analysis on data from two trials assessing the effect of reminder packaging on blood pressure measurements. We found that reminder packaging significantly decreased diastolic blood pressure (MD = -5.89 mmHg (95% CI -6.70 to -5.09; P < 0.00001; I(2) = 0%). No effect was seen on systolic blood pressure (mean change -1.01, 95% CI -2.22 to 0.20; P = 0.1, I(2) = 0%). We also conducted meta-analysis on extracted data from two trials that looked at change in glycated haemoglobin. We found that reminder packaging significantly reduced glycated haemoglobin levels (MD -0.72; 95% CI -0.83 to -0.60; P < 0.00001; I(2) = 92%), although there was considerable heterogeneity. No appropriate data were available for meta-analysis of remaining clinical outcomes, which included serum vitamin C and E levels, and self-reported psychological symptoms (one trial each). We reported remaining data narratively. In one study the presence of a reminder packaging aid was found to be preferred by patients with low literacy levels.
There are numerous situations where setting a reminder can be helpful. This article walks through how to set one up using automations. For the examples used in this article we are using our Project...
You can now configure default reminder intervals, send reminders for meetings booked through the CRM, and send reminders for meetings booked through the proposed times feature in Meetings! Previously, reminder emails could only be configured automatically through scheduling pages.
Previously automatic reminder email functionality was only possible for meetings booked through scheduling pages. Now, users will have the ability to configure reminder emails to send prior to meeting time through all scheduling flows (meetings booked via scheduling pages, meetings booked via CRM records, and meetings booked via the insert proposed times functionality). Portals will also be able to configure default reminders that will be automatically suggested for newly created scheduling pages and all CRM and Insert proposed times bookings, making reminder configuration efficient and standardized when desired.
Portals can enable default reminder intervals to send reminder emails leading up to a scheduled meeting by going to Settings > Tools > Meetings and enabling the toggle "Turn on meeting reminders by default".
Turning on default reminders will not impact any already scheduled meetings and will not change any reminder configuration that you already have in existing scheduling pages. What the new default reminder setting will do is make sure that newly created scheduling pages inherit this default configuration automatically. However, you can choose to configure scheduling pages to not follow this default, if desired.
Along with a new default reminder option, users are now able to automatically configure reminder emails to send for meetings booked through CRM records (contacts, deals, companies, tickets, etc.). When you click the "schedule a meeting" button on an object record, the scheduler has a new reminder section. If your portal has default reminders configured, this configuration will inherit the reminder intervals set on the default. However, users are still able to make changes to these reminders in the CRM scheduler ad-hoc prior to booking the meeting.
Users can also send configure reminders to send for meetings booked via the insert proposed time feature in emails. When you are sending an email through HubSpot and select the "insert proposed times" functionality, the modal has a new reminder section similar to what users would find in the CRM scheduler and meeting's scheduling pages. If your portal has default reminders configured, this configuration will inherit the reminder intervals set on the default. However, users are still able to make changes to these reminders in the insert proposed times modal ad-hoc prior to booking the meeting.
In this custom reminder email, it would be helpful to include what exact TIME the upcoming meeting will occur. When trying to add the contact property 'date of last meeting booked in meetings tool' (which is actually a time value) into the email, it just renders the date which isn't very helpful in the context of this reminder email. I put this request in this post, if you think it would be helpful please upvote it !
hi
I have a list of employees, and I was interested adding a reminder for the birthday.
In addition to sending an email to an employee who has a birthday automatically
I have a birthday column
I have an age column
What should be done? Which formula or automation is right for this?
In monday bd reminders are harder that it looks. You must put the bd date without the year, (put the day and mont with this year date , or next year if has already past) and then make 2 automations one that reminds you that the bd will be coming and a second one to push that date for next year.
Please see below. Hope this helps

If you attempt to enroll in a case type not listed below, you will not receive reminders.
Enroll in these public case types by selecting the Enroll button on the Enroll Tab:
In Agenda 14 (also before?) if I create a reminder in a note in Agenda, assign it a date and time, and assign to one of my Reminders App lists, and then the due date and time passes without the reminder being checked as complete, the reminder disappears from the Reminders App.
Try installing GoodTask to see if the reminder shows up there. I have consistently found Reminders to display bad data: wrong times, not getting updates, sometimes not showing the task at all. Reminders seems to be the worst client for CloudKit reminders - but Agenda and GoodTask have worked very well for me in that regard.
One thing I do notice, is that only once did Agenda insert an agenda:// link into the reminder in Reminders. I prefer that behavior, but have no idea why it only rarely occurs. All the reminders in the list below were created the same way. Only one received the agenda:// link.
Apologies if this is covered elsewhere, I haven't found the answer.
I wish to set a number of recurring reminders that will display on my Mothers (Age 91) Google Hub Max screen.
I understand that I can set the reminders in (her) Google Calendar, to which I have access. Do I need to do anything / make any setting changes to her Hub to ensure they actually display on the screen at then correct time on the right day. She is hard of hearing so a visual reminder is necessary.
What does she need to do once she has 'seen' and actioned the reminder to clear it from the screen?
We don't live nearby so I need to do all this remotely.
Setting reminders is one of the most useful features of Google Nest speakers. I truly understand how helpful it is for you and to your mother especially that it's so easy to use and navigate. If you have completely set up your Google Nest display as well as your phone that uses the same account, setting reminders is very easy. However, the Google Nest display can only show one reminder at a time. As soon as the reminder is shown, you can tap on the screen to remove it from the display.
