Anne,

Too bad you you missed the meeting.  We had a full table and the discussion was one of the liveliest we have had in awhile.

Talked about the history of the period (1600's) and the consequences of the outcome of the debate over infinitesimals.  

James asked if we thought there were any similar events going on right now which led to some discussion of global warming and GMOs.
