Dear Twin Deer Mother and brother Kaden Lebray,

I found one website listing American Indian tribes in North Carolina and another website showing the counties of North Carolina.

https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1&biw=1600&bih=761&ei=HJAtW-zSOoC60PEPof6MsA4&q=American+Indian+tribe+near++wilson+north+carolina&oq=American+Indian+tribe+near++wilson+north+carolina&gs_l=psy-ab.3...8100.15463.0.17609.21.21.0.0.0.0.230.2552.5j15j1.21.0....0...1.1.64.psy-ab..0.1.133...0i7i30k1.0.WyzFFRTWJRI

The State of North Carolina recognizes eight tribes:
  • Eastern Band of Cherokee (tribal reservation in the Mountains)
  • Coharie (Sampson and Harnett counties)
  • Lumbee (Robeson and surrounding counties)
  • Haliwa-Saponi (Halifax and Warren counties)
  • Sappony (Person County)
  • Meherrin (Hertford and surrounding counties)

1.  Eastern Band of Cherokee (tribal reservation in the Mountains): I don't know where the "Mountains" are.

2.  Coharie (Sampson and Harnett counties): south-west of Wilson county.

3.  Lumbee (Robeson and surrounding counties):  Also south-west of Wilson county but beyond Cumberland county.  Robeson county is on a south-west border.

4.   Haliwa-Saponi (Halifax and Warren counties): due north of Wilson county.

5.  Sappony (Person County): north-west on the northern border.

6.  Meherrin (Hertford and surrounding counties): north-east on the northern border.

Hope this helps.  From this information, you can find out who, when and where there are Inipi Sweat Lodge rituals.

Love and blessings,

Holiness David
