VectorPolygonsToRaster <- add options for overlapping polygons

Hello, I've been working with different means of rasterizing some polygons and most have an option for what to do with overlapping polygons like taking the first, last, min, max, etc values found in the feature/vector dataset in a selected field for the output raster. Would it be possible to add this functionality to the Vector______ToRaster tools (specifically the ploygons tool in this case)? 

Thanks, I continue to love this suite of tools after 5+ years of heavy usage!
