Shape metrics for polygon

Hello, 

I tried to use patch shape tools to calculate the Compactnessratio of polygons in SHP format, but it worked once and then never worked again even when I use other shape tools. I tried it on both Arcgis pro 2.7 and QGIS and the front-ends work just fine, but I cannot get the result in new fields.

Has anyone tried these tools? I'm not sure if something is wrong with the settings or if I've overlooked some restriction. Thanks.
