Ok all,
Need help from someone to research, develop AND IMPLEMENT a safety plan for using hydrogen as an inflation gas. This would also include buying/packing the safety equipment needed locally tonight/tomorrow morning and going to the launch site to direct the proper usage.

We haven't had enough offers to pay the exhorbitant cost of helium + trucking costs (which would be $450he + $150truck cost) for this flight, so we're going to have to use hydrogen, which will cost $100 for this flight + trucking costs. (excluding deposits for either He or H2 of $450) If you'd like to skip the Hydrogen safety planning and equipment for that, please volunteer the money for helium.

It's a simple fact of amateur ballooning this year that He is very expensive, and many amateur groups have had to turn to H2. I have not heard of any accidents occurring in the community with H2, thanks to proper precautions.

Thank you Ben Hibben for volunteering to drive, the gas will need to be picked up from Louisville Welder's supply tomorrow between 8:30AM and 12 noon.

Thank you Jamie for donating $25 so far to the launch fund!

Thanks,
Dan
