HA CLAY,HOW WOULD HOMEMADE TOMATOJUICE AGED IN OAK BARRELL TURN OUT,GOING TO MAKE BLODDY MARYS. SHOULD I MIX JUICE&VODKA TOGETHER FIRST THEN AGE.  LIGE

For bangin dinner bloody Marys, skip the barrel. What you want to do, is infuse the vodka w/your cocktail veggies (ie. olives, mini onions, spicy pickled green beans, pickled okra and pickled asparagus for the win,) in a glass container w/a pour spout at the bottom. Veggie infused vodka for the drink, vodka infused veggies for the garnish and a fresh crunchy stalk of celery to keep it mixed (and help dig the olives out of the bottom.) You can even dry spice the vodka... fresh ground pepper, cayenne, cumin etcetera... careful though, the heat will infuse easily. One Thai pepper or two in the mix would prolly do it.
Leave it on the counter, at room temp, for phenomenal results and an interesting conversation piece.
Save your barrel for something worth savoring.
