Hello Scouts and Scouters, Friends and Family of Jamboree Troops 1632
and 1633
I picked up the OA patches this afternoon. We need to separate them by
individual order and they will be available tonight. I will see if I
can connect with T175 so they have their orders and T508 for tomorrow
night.
We will have t-shirts to fill incomplete orders or swap out sizes
tonight. We will try to get t-shirts to T175 along with the OA patches
for tomorrow night.
Tonight at T42 St Andrews Presbyterian Church we will need help with
Troop Equipment outside and checking large duffel bags and patch/T-
shirt orders inside. This is also a standard troop 42 meeting, so we
will keep our activity to the back of the room and close the divider
if necessary.
The large duffel bags are due tonight or tomorrow night with T175 in
Irving. We will take the large duffel bags from you and transport them
to a trailer for shipment to the Jamboree.
From emails over the weekend here are some FAQ's
Can we bring food inside the airport? - Yes you can. It has to be
packaged and in a separate ziplock bag from the rest of your gear.
check out our blog
http://jamboree2010.blogspot.com/
for more information. While you are there why sign up to follow it so
you get the latest and greatest information as it is posted? That is a
neat idea!
Can we bring a radio? - You bet, please pack it in your large duffel
bag.
Is there electricity? - No. We will not have access to electricity -
bring batteries!
Can I bring a fan? - sure you bet, just make sure it operates with
batteries
Can I bring a cot or a chair? - if it fits in your large duffel bag.
We will have plenty of room to sit in our dining area and prefer you
bring mats or air mattresses for more room in the tent and less wear
and tear.
Where is my hat? You will get your hat at the airport. You will get
your jamboree neckerchief and nametag at the Jamboree.
**Mark everything with your name - everything - but no nametags or
names on backpacks during the tour please.
**Bring a camera! We plan to download pictures to our

all times on the tour and in the campsite. If we need to call you we
