Hello Scouts and Scouters, Family and Friends of Jamboree Troops 1632
and 1633,

Congratulations to our new OA members from this weekend! We had
several members of both Jamboree Troops inducted into the Order of the
Arrow, Scoutings National Honor Society.

Our last formal troop meeting is tomorrow night May 17 at 7pm. The
location is the Sanctuary of St Andrews Presbyterian Church on
Skillman in East Dallas.

Please attend in full uniform.

This is the same location as the January and September 2009 Troops
meeting.

At this meeting Scouts will receive another Jamboree Participant patch
for their uniform. Troop unit numbers, Big and Small Duffle Bags, get
updates on the trip and what to bring and a look at our calendar.

At our Jamboree Shakedown May 1-2 at Wisdom we had the chance to look
at all our troop gear and sleep in our tents we will use at the
Jamboree. After reviewing our two troops equipment need list and
meeting with all the troop leaders on what more we need to make this a
fantastic trip.

Please, we ask for $10 per Scout to handle all equipment needs. Please
bring $10 for equipment tomorrow night.

Our Troops T-shirt and hat is coming in at $20 per Scout. Everyone
needs at least one t-shirt and one hat, although you can buy more if
you wish. Please bring $20 tomorrow night.

That is $30 total.

All patch orders are due at this meeting. We distributed all the
patches and set discounts this last week. Please bring your order form
and payment for any patches you want.

We will have a demonstration on packing from Bobby Hartmann.
We will have a Gateway review.
We will give an itenerary update and flight update.
We will talk about Communication before and during the Jamboree.
We will introduce our youth leaders.
...and More!

We will sit by patrol for both troops. We will rely on each patrol
leader to help distribute items to their patrol.
