Hello all,

Ethan,
Your site/app is amazing. I can't thank you enough for all the tools it provides us. I am just getting into it and starting to flesh everything out. Onto my question...

My band has all of our images for show notes, logos, etc. on a Google Drive. I have done some googling and experimentation, but I can't figure out how to display .jpg and .png images on the app.

I have created shareable links that are accessible to anyone with the link, but they don't end in .jpg or .png as it says in the notes. Is it possible to change the image links used on the site? Or any other way to get these to work from GDrive?

If you want to share information to all band members about a gig, use the  "Info for band members" field on the Gig Entry form.  You can include links:

So you can use the above method, and there is also an "External Resource URL" field here on the Gig Entry form:

Will one of these options work for you?  If not, give me more detail and I'm sure we'll come up with something.

Hi Ethan,
Thanks for your reply! I was specifically trying to figure out how to add the .jpg or .png files to songs for charts.

I also wanted to link the image for Band URL image which is found under settings. Every time I try it shows a broken icon.

Got it!  Yes, sometimes using cloud resources like DropBox and Google Drive, these will work as links, but can be problematic using them as HTML image resources.  I think I've been able to get DropBox images to work.  I can check into Google Drive.

From the additional information you've provided, I think a good way to go is for you to enter a "Chart URL" into the song field.

The resource is then available through the 'i' action on the song detail set list section, or the song list actions.  Your members can click the "Chart URL" link:

Which will display the chart.  This example uses a Google Drive resource:

Do you think that will get you what you need?
