Email confirmation - placeholders in message

When I add someone to a gig, and it sends a confirmation email, are there placeholders that can be used for the information about the gig?  For example, if we have a rehearsal, the first line of the email says  "The band XYZ would like you to play with them on an upcoming gig:"... except it's not a gig, it's a rehearsal (as shown in the Gig type: field further down the list). It would be great to be able to modify the standard form so that GIG_TYPE is used, etc.

Thoughts?
