How do I notify band members of upcoming gigs? And, am I able to share the calendar view with each member? Thanks for your help in advance!!

Hi Gordy--

There are a number of automatic notification settings on the "Settings" page.  Check them out and please ask if you need any more detail on them. You can give your band members non-administrator access so they can review your schedule, and more importantly, set their unavailability dates.  For more on account users and band members and how they relate, please see the video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hga47uEuGIA

When I edit a band member individually I don't see an option to select Confirmation Request as shown in the video?  Thanks Ethan.

Was able to correct it, now, when are emails sent to band members about an upcoming gig, does that happen automatically?

Sure, no problem.  It's this option on the Band Member entry (Band Member page, select the edit icon on the member):

Awesome, thanks! I got that to work. When is a confirmation request sent for a gig? Is it automatic?

There are three settings that can automatically send information on upcoming events:

1. Once a day, send an email showing changes to the gigs (new gigs, updated gigs, deleted gigs).
2. Once a week, send a summary of all upcoming gigs.
3. A day before the gig, send a reminder email with all of the gig details.

These are enabled/disabled on the Settings page.   In addition, from the Gig Detail page (the page shown when you click on a gig in the gig list) there is an action to send a "Gig Alert".  This will send an email/SMS to provide gig details about to your band members.  This is useful in general, but also if you have a member playing with you that does not have site access.

Awesome, thanks for the info! And, one last question, how do I let members know they have access and give them their login and PW info to access? Sorry for all the dumb questions Ethan!!

LOL.  Not dumb.  You'll have to let them know about their site access in the "normal" way:  Send them a text, an email, or a phone call.  Just be sure to tell them your account name, their username, and their password.  Many browsers save the information, so it's fast to login after you've done it the first time.
