Google Street View close cross is missing.

When using http://wtp2.appspot.com/wheresthepath.htm and I go into Google Street View the close cross is missing and there appears to no way to get out of Street View. I wondered if you could add the normal Street View close X.

I see now that if the right map control is selected that a Close SV button is displayed when Street View is being displayed in the right map and the same for the left map. If it works then the normal Street view close cross would be more convenient.

It is not possible to control the position of the Street View close box and it ends up on top of other controls - hence the Close SV button.
