As we talked about last night, Eric Wolf, Ben Tuttle and myself organized the first WhereCamp5280 in 2009, and Steve Coast took the lead on organizing it in 2010 (we decided not to do one in 2011 because FOSS4G was here in town and a lot of folks were involved in organizing that instead). Steve wrote a detailed post on what he did to organize the 2010 event, which is a useful reference:
