You're right - Carrington's have definitely closed down for good.
Apparently they just decided to call it a day - but who knows! It was
certainly a disgraceful way to finish - no communication whatever
with clients.
I'm definitely interested in the freehold purchase, but I'm out in the sticks
and also away quite a lot, so it's difficult to get up for any meetings. I
can see how difficult it is to get enough people involved. There was a
suggestion on Google of a meeting - do you know if anything happened? Do
you know if anyone has any knowledge of what the going rate is for
freehold purchases?
Would appreciate any thoughts you may have.

I think Carrington’s has now gone under – their shop on Spitalfields market is now a clothes shop…
