Hi All!
On Sunday, May 7, 2023, I'll be riding in the New York City Five Boro Bike Tour, and I'd love to share the ride with some Wheelpersons. If you're interested, let me know.
Here's a recap of what it's all about:
- 42 miles, totally traffic-free---streets, highways, and bridges closed to traffic, bikes only. You will not have to deal with a single car for 42 miles.
- 32,000 cyclists from all over the U.S. and around the world
- Ride through all five New York City boroughs--Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island
- Rest stops with food, drinks, and music
- SAG, mechanics, Potra Potties, ride marshals, police, and EMTs all along the route
- Post-ride festival
This is truly a one-of-a-kind ride where you get to see a great city from a perspective few people ever experience. I've done this tour about 25 times--never been disappointed, never had a problem. Always fun.
Registration opens at Noon on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Cost is $129.00 plus processing fees.
The ride is on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
We had a dozen riders last year---they all seemed to like it--and it would be great to have an even bigger crowd this time.
