Impromptu Ride - Saturday, July 11 - Start 8am

Hello Fellow Wheelmen Members,

Since some of us signed up for the Civil War Century Ride in Thurmont, MD (102 miles, 6700ft elevation gain) we decided to integrate several "climb rides" into our riding routine.

The first ride will include one climb up Tuscarora Pike for a total distance of 49miles with roughly 3600ft of elevation gain (the RWGPS file is showing only 3300ft).

Hard to estimate an average pace but I would expect somewhere between 14-15mph.

Unfortunately there is NO opportunity to replenish supplies - bring your largest water bottles!
