Heya guys,
I noticed this thread is about dead, but I figured I'd say hello
anyhow...
My name is Jon "Grimm". I live at an art space in Cincinnati Ohio.

My building mate was buying storage units at auction out here, and 5
days ago he came to me with his latest score.

I am now the proud owner of a Tiginics Wheelman, with the squirrel
cage and all that jazz. It was stored properly, fired right up, and
rides like a dream! 300 bucks... oh yeah what a deal...
Hopefully I don't find the owner in this thread, as I would be sooo
sad to lose this thing to something as lame as a storage unit repo,
but...umm... not giving it up :) I want another one!

So I am looking through this thread for mods and such. Want to quiet
the beast with a decent muffler, but as most tend to I have learned
how to ride and now want more. Bigger engine, bigger tank for distance
runs, whatever...

So I will continue to script kitty instead of asking the same 2 year
old questions, but I have not found anything truly useful except for
the GP engine swap. But if anyone is feeling benevolent, I could use
some help and links...

Muffler? Is there one that will make this real quiet without
sacrificing any of the already low speed?
Do the 49cc bore out kits work? Will this give me a little boost, or
at least better grade negotiation?
If not, has anyone found an engine with the same mounts as the
original? I might be willing to try the GP but the last thing I want
is to have it in pieces over the summer while I figure out the
mounting and gas tank. No sense fixing something that for now is not
broken... but I do not have working brakes either ;)

So anyhow, nice to meet you fellow enthusiasts!
If any of you are selling another one, or of course knows someone who
wants mine REAL bad (there's always a right price, haha), holler!
Would love to chat with some other people about this, I am the only
kid on my block, maybe even the whole city. Thanks!

hey Jon.....

im not too far away from you, in Indianapolis, and i dont know anyone
here except a guy i sold one to that has one around here.

luckily these fall under the scooter category as far as the law, and
can ridden on the streets during the day legally with no license....

90% complete, and my personal ride which has about 5.25hp coming from
a 46cc engine. (currently engine seized...awaiting new cylinder from
daves motors)

this is the easiest engine to convert for the dollar and the
horsepower. my ride will take me over 35mph and i weigh 245
