Brad depending on where you are located in KY. Columbus,OH has a team but needs players if you would be willing to travel at least once a week to practice. Contact Tammy Harbaugh at tl...@juno.com.  She is the team rep. You may also call her at 740-814-7128 and ask her for her coach's phone number. His name is Donnie but I don't know his last name. The team's name is the Columbus Pioneers.

John,
Thanks for the email. I live in the Louisville area. With gas prices the way they are, Columbus may not be the best option.  I got a response from someone else about a lady at Cardinal Hill Rehab in Lexington who may be looking to start a team. The only problem is that I don't know how to get in touch with her. The Cardinal Hill website could not be found.  Hopefully I can find a team somewhere soon.

                                                                                                                                        Thanks,

Brad, Julie Duncan is the Director of SCI Recreation at Cardinal Hill and her phone number is 859.254.5701 ext. 5642. They have not started a team yet but they might start one sooner if thet know people from the area are interested. Tell Julie that Dino gave you her info. Hope she can help!

Brad the phone number for Cardinal Hill Rehab is 859-254-5701. I would suggest calling them and asking to speak to either an occupational therapist or recreational therapist and see if they can lead you to the person that is trying to start a team.  Try recreational therapy first.  If you have the name of the person you are looking for, be sure to ask the therapist is that person works at the rehab center and if not how may you contact them if they are know.  If nothing else, if they know them but will not give out their number, have them return your call.  I have also heard that Cincinnati is trying to start a team but I do not know who to contact.  Check with Bruce Froendt. He is the president of the National Wheelchair Softball Assoc.  His email is bfro...@transfirst.com.  He may be able to give you a contact name.
