Job Description:
Develops, interprets, coordinates, and administers the organization's
policies on finance, accounting, patient registration, patient
accounting, materials management, internal controls, biomedical
engineering, and internal auditing. Maintains records and procedures
required to adequately safeguard the assets of the hospital.
Participates in strategic planning which is compatible with the
organization's objectives and financial business plan. Acts as EHSC
liaison to all financial entities external to the company.


Job Qualifications:
Required:
>Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting
>Ten to fifteen years accounting finance experience, of which five to seven should be as a senior financial manager in a large hospital healthcare system or national consulting firm
>CPA (Certified Public Accountant) and/or FHFM (Fellowship of the Healthcare Financial Management Association)

Preferred:
>Experience in competitive managed care markets
