Announcing, very quickly, the first three workshops and some sessions
for kids at Kala Ghoda.
Fiction Bootcamp
For intermediate level writers aged 16 and above
11am to 4pm, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th Feb,
Elphinstone College Seminar Room
Anita Roy, Annie Zaidi and Manisha Lakhe will take you through a
number of exercises that will help you improve your fiction writing.
You will also be taken through a number of exercises that will help
you get the attention of editors and publishers in a section called
'How to get published'
And on both days, we will bring in a few writers to chat informally
with the participants about their journeys from idea to published

Eligibility: send one short work of fiction (or an extract) not more
than 1000 words long to kalaghoda...@gmail.com with the subject
line 'Fiction Bootcamp'
The workshop leaders will select not more than 20 participants based
on the quality of your submission
Freelance Journalism and Feature Writing
For beginners aged 16 and above
11am to 4pm, Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th Feb,
Elphinstone College Seminar Room
Kavitha Rao brings back her popular workshop that takes beginners
through the process of learning how to make it as a freelance writer.
