Screening of Second Chance with director Subhadra Mahajan.

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club! This week (9th Oct), there will be no screening.

On Thursday, 16th October at 6:30 pm, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of Second Chance (104 minutes, Hindi, English, and Kullavi) directed by Subhadra Mahajan, who will be present for the screening. 

After its premiere at the prestigious Karlovy Vary festival, the film travelled around the world to several festivals, including Busan, Hamburg, Sao Paulo, Adelaide, Belfast, among others. Beautifully shot in black and white, the story revolves around Nia (Dheera Johnson), who, after experiencing her first major trauma in life, retreats to her family's summer home in the Himalayas, where time, nature, and unlikely friendships help her heal.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Subhadra Mahajan and production designer Namra Parikh.
