This Thursday, 11th September at 6:30 pm, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the Milos Forman classic, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975, 130 mins), which marks its 50th anniversary.
Based on the novel by Ken Kesey, the film broke new ground and catapulted Jack Nicholson into unparalleled fame. It was only the second film to win all five major Oscar Awards (Best Picture, Best Actor, Actress, Director, and Screenplay). Nicholson plays a convict sent to a mental health hospital for evaluation, where he encounters Nurse Ratched (Louise Fletcher). Even though he made several commendable films, this one remained Forman's most successful one.
