Screening of Italian film

[Cinephile Film Club]

This Thursday, 27th Feb. 6.30 pm at the Cinephile film club, Maquinez palace Panjim, Sachin Chatte will host the screening the Italian black comedy, _Divorce, Italian Style_ (1961, 105 mins). The film won the Oscar for Best writing, story and screenplay.

Directed by Pietro Vermi, the film has Marcello Mastroianni as an impoverished Sicilian aristocrat who sets up his wife's affair, so that he can commit a crime of passion. This is unlike any Sicilian setting you have seen in cinema.
