BACKGROUND OF THE SPACE
Inspire Home is a collaborative space to experiment with ideas relating to Art, Culture, Community, Learning and Activities.
The space will showcase and host a variety of events, workshops and activities focused around art, education & culture - ranging from artist residencies, art/photography/experimental exhibitions, food pop-ups, Chef Tables, to various Creative & Traditional learning workshops for adults & kids,

Local & Community markets, Film screenings and Inspire Talks. The space is always open to collaboration and partnership with individuals as well as organisations sharing related ideas and values.

Location of Inspire Home is in Seraulim Village.
Seraulim is derived from its earlier name Suravali - means Place Of God
Seraulim taluka is a delight for lovers of nature and enthusiasts of agriculture. The four lakes in the village, Duncolim vodlem Tollem ( Big Lake), Duncolim Dakte Tollem (Small Lake), Seraulim Vodlem & Dakte Tollem in Acsona are considered to be among the best examples of water harvesting bodies in Goa.These water bodies also make the village an important bird sanctuary. Toddy tapping is also carried out extensively

Duncolim village is under the gram panchayat of Seraulim.
It is situated 5km from Margao, 5km from Betalbatim, Colva & Majorda beach, 7-10 km from Majorda and Velsao, 23km from Goa Airport & 32km from Panjim

Background of the Chef

Chef Megha, a Masterchef India finalist, graduated from the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School -Paris in French Patisserie and Cuisine. She worked at Indigo Deli, Mumbai and Kenilworth Hotel, Kolkata & Goa. After she acquired knowledge of supplies, equipment and services, she taught at 

The Apeejay Institute of Hospitality - Mumbai as a much-loved Patisserie Lecturer and World Cuisine Chef trainer. Following her love for being in the kitchen, she ran a cafe for a season in the south of Goa & Rishikesh longer.
The Chef runs her own catering company, previously named Pepperstar, now - Hearth & I, which specialises in Vegan and Vegetarian fare. She has also done some copywriting for websites, blogs and social media content for a few food-based companies. She is also associated with various Ngo's teaching and training women for food production and service.
