Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club! This Thursday, 18th June at 6.30 pm, as an annual celebration to commemorate Arthur Conan Doyle's anniversary, we are screening two popular Sherlock Holmes stories starring Jeremy Brett, the quintessential Holmes. Film critic and Sherlock Holmes aficionado Sachin Chatte will introduce the films.
The Red Headed League :(53 mins) - One of Arthur Conan Doyle's favourte stories, the story is about Jabez Wilson, a pawnbroker with bright red hair, is hired by a mysterious Red-Headed League for an easy, well-paid job. When the league suddenly disappears, he asks Sherlock Holmes to investigate the matter.
