Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club!
Next Thursday, 10th Apr, at 6.30 pm (please note there is no screening on 3rd Apr), Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the Stanley Kubrick epic Spartacus (1960,187 mins), which is a big screen spectacle.
The film has one of the greatest ensemble cast with Kirk Douglas in the lead role as the leader of the rebels, Laurence Olivier as the politician Marcus Crassus, Charles Laughton as the rival senator, and Peter Ustinov as Batiatu, in an Oscar-winning role, in this classic Roman saga. The film had 6 nominations and won 4 Oscars.
