Screening of Alfred Hitchcock's Rebecca

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club! 

This Thursday, January 16th, at 6.30 pm. Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the Alfred Hitchcock classic Rebecca (1940, 125 mins). Based on Daphne Du Maurier's novel, the film was nominated for 11 Academy Awards and won Best Picture - the only Hitchcock film to do so.

The film stars Laurence Olivier as an aristocratic widower and Joan Fontaine as a young lady who becomes his second wife. The presence of his first wife lingers through the film, making this a memorable thriller.
