Resumption of weekly screenings.

Greetings from the Cinephile Film Club! We wish you a very happy and prosperous new year, and we are pleased to announce that we are resuming our weekly screenings.

This Thursday, 8th January at 6:30 pm, Sachin Chatte will host the screening of the Alfred Hitchcock classic, Strangers on a Train (1951, 101 mins), based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel. Starring Farley Granger, Ruth Roman, and Robert Walker, the film is about two strangers who decide to swap murders so that neither will be caught. Several elements of this first-rate thriller, right from the production design to the themes, have been appreciated and dissected by film buffs.
